On Decembre 5, 2014, the municipal council adopted the Politique environnementale de Lac-Simon. This environmental policy was developed after a fruitful collaboration with the citizens of the municipality. The first goal was to identify environmental issues in the municipal region and to target which actions would be necessary in order to improve the environmental performance of Lac-Simon, in a way that preserves, or even improves, the exceptional quality of our living environment. The Service de l’urbanisme et de l’environnement is responsable for carrying out a follow-up of the action plan which accompanies the environmental policy.
