77, rue Hôtel-de-Ville, Chénéville
Within the Public Consultations process of the Municipality concerning the Urban Planning documents, the Lac Simon Property-owners’ Association (LSPA) will intervene to convey the expectations and preoccupations that we consider as priorities for the future of sustainable development on the territory of Lac-Simon.
The following themes will be examined:
|Environment||Regulation 395-2007 aiming to combat the premature aging of our lakes and waterways and diminish the risk of blue-green algae proliferation. Regulation 435-2011 concerning the restoration of our shorelines and everything that concerns the renaturalisation of the shorelines.|
|The human interaction||Zoning bylaws, lot sizes, permits and certificates, minor variances|
|Common wharfs and docks||Bylaws and regulation of Camping, water access ramps, common wharfs and docks, nuisances.|
|Image and identity||Regulations and bylaws to preserve the natural landscape throughout the Municipality.|
Many other modifications and enhancements to the bylaws
and regulations could affect you.
After revision by the Urban Planning Committee, the Municipal Council passed the plan and the related bylaws. They are now available or for on-site consultation at the Municipal offices at 849, chemin Tour-du-Lac, Lac-Simon and on the Municipal Web site at:
Some of the bylaws and regulations that we consider vital for the protection of our environment, our property investments and our quality of life could be contested by certain persons or groups
We would thereby encourage you, as a present or former member of the Association, to be present at one of the meetings to show your support for the Urban Planning and Sustainable Development initiative of the Municipality of Lac-Simon which will protect, now and in the future, our environment.
